As crazy as it sounds, Hannah’s Kitchen Cuisine started as an idea on a napkin at breakfast one morning in 2014. Our desire was simply to take our love and passion for cooking and serving others to help feed the Chicago community. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine it growing to what it has become today.
Through hard work and dedication, we have been blessed to vend for businesses such as Comcast, YMCA, Pop Up Shops, AON, USPS, and the Chicago Park District. But we always remember our biggest blessing comes from feeding the homeless community. We are reminded daily that it could be any one of us, at any given moment and that’s what keeps us pushing and striving for more and to do more.
Our goal is to have a chain of restaurants throughout the US that will put good ole’ southern food in the bellies of all!
Founder and CEO, Kevin E. Hannah was born in Chicago, but raised in Mississippi where his love for southern cuisine began at a very early age. Although his overall inspiration was his dear paternal grandmother, he comes from a long bloodline of cooks and true southern hospitality. Kevin’s wish is for Hannah’s Kitchen to become a household name. He wants people to hear the name Hannah's Kitchen and immediately think of good food, hospitality, love and family.
Speaking of family, it’s Kevin’s desire to build something that will be a true foundation of generational wealth for his children and generations to come.
